About Counselling
Maybe you are feeling stuck at the moment, with nowhere to turn and feel as if nobody understands. Perhaps there are issues too uncomfortable to share with those close, or you are holding onto painful emotions with no idea how to process them. Together we can tackle those difficulties, maybe look at negative patterns of behaviour, possibly influenced by your past that still hinder you in the present. We can work towards making sense of your anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and so much more.
I have a special interest in relationships and how we interact with others and the effect they have on us. Whether it be personal, family, business or romantic, we can explore how to enrich such relationships or move on feeling more at peace.
Life can be very challenging at times and feel like a mountain too high to climb, problems can persist and get worse until you feel overwhelmed; there is no need to suffer alone. You have just taken one positive step by seeking support and finding a brighter way forward, I will do my utmost to help.
What to Expect
After an initial 15 minute chat on the phone or a Zoom meet, and we feel we are a good match, we will arrange our first assessment session to find out more about your situation and gain some background and history information. We will then meet every week at the same time to create a consistent therapeutic space for us to work together. We will review our work every 6 weeks.
